Bodybuilding in ancient Greece
The Greeks were well known for many events and sports they would create such as bodybuilding. Bodybuilding first began in ancient Greece when people would train in gymnasiums(Greeks know gymnasium as naked place) and would train for whichever sport they would compete in. This all began when a wrestling champion in ancient Greece named Milo of Croton would carry a calf until it was a bull. He would carry the calve everyday to train for the sport he would compete in which is wrestling. He would do this training in order to gain strength and endurance. Milo of Croton invented the roots of bodybuilding due to his rigorous training. Bodybuilding is a very famous sport today, and is a very competitive sport that many people participate in and this all started due to the Greeks rigorous training.
